AHH... YES!!... this Pic was my computer background for the loooongest time!! :clap

These tanks are strictly for the HARD-CORE MFK'ers only!! I can not understand how one can say, that this is NOT a Display Tank? or that this is wrong or cruel??... It atually takes alot more knowledge and experience (not to mention, Guts too!) than you think??... These are not newbie fish hobbyists/enthusiasts who do not know anything about water chemistry or anything like that!! It takes alot more than you can possibly think?!! (take Miles, he knew what he was thinking before he posted on this thread!!) Miles, totally agree w/ you, 100%, bro!! :thumbsup:

Don't get me wrong, I do understand the means of natural biotope tanks, fish needs/requirements, and habitat and all that. But, that's the thing... this is not what he/or she is striving for. He/or she has no intentions of breeding. It's a totally different approach. To see a tank like this, with many various fish species, from all different areas of the globe (SA, NA, Asia, Africa, Australia, etc.)... From tropical/sub-tropical, warmwaters to coldwaters, to brackish/hard waters to soft waters, etc.)... All housed in one massive tank... All getting along, all fine in perfect health, displaying their natural true vibrant colors, it is Totally Something Else!! Almost Unbeleivable, I'd say!! :hypnotize But hey,,, 'Different strokes, for Different Folks!!', right?!! Everyone's entitled to their own opinions! As long as it's all in good spirits, It's All Good!! :headbang2

yup, thats from one of friends here in the Philippines ;) .. i haven't seen that tank in person but i've heard that its incredible.. we're trying to plan another visit to check out those huge SR's :)

yeah guy. I remember reading an earlier post guy where somebody said something along the lines of, its really difficult to take those fish and place them on one aquarium and have them be in perfect shape with incredible colors. I think its overcrowding but I def. bow down to that dude because I can't even imagine how difficult it would be to tend after all those fish with their dif. personalities. :thumbsup: :headbang2
 
It must take an insane amount of dedication to have that tank up and running and keep all those fish healthy. VERY impressive no matter what you personally think about overcrowding.
 
can you guys imagine how big a filteration is required for such gaint overstocked tanks?

probably need tons of filtering medias and lots lots of water change just to keep them alive.
