I just watched Alien and Aliens back to back, forgot how much I love those films, just wanted to tell someone

it is a prequel to the movies so i can understand why no sig weaver but still im looking forward to it.
actually its not really a prequel, it takes place in the same universe but isn't that closely related to alien, Ridley Scott (who is diretcing it and also directed alien) says it isn't a prequel it is just loosely tied to Alien
However it is related tot he alien films, though if someone was doing a true Alien prequel it wouldn't have Weaver in it because she has to be like 60 now, so that probably isn't a terribly good way of looking at it
Aside from that, her character is used up

Aliens is the best  one of my all time favs.

i love those movie, Aliens is still one of the best horror sci fi action flicks of all time, ALL TIME, right up there with event horizon.
