Karaig, i do not remember anyone suggesting you kill the fish.

But even if you took that, legitimate, but harsh and hasty, decision, my opinion is that there is nothing gained by posting the execution of a fish on a site.

Fish is yours. Decision was yours to take. But to publicize it ( allthough i can understand what you were aiming at ) i find objectionnable.

But this is, only, my opinion.

no they really dont, i didnt tell him to do it. im just trying to make him feel less terrible about what he did. if that makes anyone mad then oh well.

Thanks I completely understand your opinion and seeing as you are a mod you would not like this on your website.Also on the original 2 people suggest that it would be best to get rid of it. Releasing a fish such as talapia comes with a worse fine especially were I am from plus it would thrive and live were I am from and Everyone frowns upon the release of a fish. But since that was out of option I had to do this. I have learned my leason and reviewed the sheet many times and now know every illegal fish. Thankyou for your help on both threads Miguel.
 
I live in cape coral . Fl. And i own about 25 of those exact tilapia, got all of them out of the ditch that. runs down 41. fwc told me to take all the tilapia and armored catfish i can ketch being a invasive species, even told him i was keeping the tilapia for my tanks and mini pond, he said no prob. As long as i had no bass.
Just saying you can have these in fl. Unless fwc is lying to me.

he should feel bad ... he just killed his pet.... I understand you wanting to make it less traumatic for him ... but if it will keep him from doing this again .. in this case trauma is good..

Thanks for that adleast I know now. also to everyone that didn't like what I did please remember this fish was very dear to me and It was something insainly hard to do. I did not want to do this at all.

Well that was gross! I have had to put down a few fish from injury, disease and culling so I know how it feels but clove oil is the best way to go
