I live in cape coral . Fl. And i own about 25 of those exact tilapia, got all of them out of the ditch that. runs down 41. fwc told me to take all the tilapia and armored catfish i can ketch being a invasive species, even told him i was keeping the tilapia for my tanks and mini pond, he said no prob. As long as i had no bass.
Just saying you can have these in fl. Unless fwc is lying to me.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it is illegal to transport any of the listed invasive species (alive). I inquired several years back about a collecting trip to bring back fish to Iowa.
