Its not that deadly and it doesnt happen to every one. So more than likely itl be fine. Aros in the wild eat all sorts of things like lizards and birds.

You're not going to have to agonize for a week. Fish have a very short digestive track and what is eaten is usually passed on through within 24 hours or less.

If the fish is still fine today, I'd say you are out of the woods.

But tell Dad (and I happen to be a Dad of three who are in their 30s) next time to clip the spurs off the shrimp before feeding.

it'll probably be alright, but IMO it's better to avoid it if you can to reduce the chance of puncturing something.
