I lost almost all my fish!

Im not sorry for you. Obviously the thought of seeing your fish in a big tank got the better of you. But how could you be so silly and add fish after 1 DAY?!!!!

Ouch...harsh! For myself I won't rush to judge...I've had my share of mistakes.

I don't think it was a cycling issue, that is usually a slow death. Perhaps a massive pH swing killed them...for them to die so suddenly is very strange.
