i went to one of the lfs's on the weekend and got a HUGE deal. i browsed the fw section and saw some really cool fishes, one after another, rare awesome species that where catching my eye. after the fw i moved on to the sw section and came across a new setup filled with an assortment of sw fishes, in the corner was a frogfish. i had been trying to track one down for quite some time, quickly i looked at the prices...... it was 150$ way out of my price range i had 40$. next to the frogfish pricetag i saw a zebra lion for 24.99$ but no lion in the tank. so i aksed the girl where the lion was and she pointed at what i thought looked alot more like a frogfish... but wait? who am i to judge, its her job to id fish. i got her to bag me the 24.99$ "lionfish" and i was off. I arrived home not knowing if the fish i had purchased was a lionfish or a frogfish
so i quickly looked it up and turns out its a frogfish, how did i know????. ohh well BONUS FOR ME! it was overpriced anyways LOL so i guess i saved 125$ and the moral of the story is dont complain about useless lfs staff, rather use them to your advantage to get what you want.
