About to move my juvi GT to a 75g tank. He's only about 3" right now but I'd like to go ahead and get him into his permanent home. I need a cleanup crew for the bottom of my tank - if he doesn't catch a sinking pellet before it hits the floor of the tank, he won't eat it :headshake

I will not put a pleco in this tank lol. Absolutely not. They are complete poo machines. I was thinking like 4-5 cory cats of some sort? It's a sand substrate. I don't really want clown loaches as they get a little too big.

I'd get clown loaches personally - if they start to get big you can sell them for big bucks (not joking) but that will take several years.

I agree clown loaches are great and it takes forever for them to get big. I've got a 5" that I've had for over 2 years.

I would just get floating pellets and train the GT to eat from the top of the water or drop the sinkers near him so he has a chance to eat them....No point in getting other fish that you really don't want.

A Raphael catfish or a Bumblebee catfish both stay relativly small and are great scavengers. Get one of those fake logs from Petsmart and you will not even know they exsist half the time.

I had a pictus catfish with mine and he was great. Clown loaches are also good and grow slow and actually worth decent money if they get big
