It is petty, and I apologized to kritch ~6 posts ago. Thanks for your suggestion earlier in the thread and for at least attempting to keep the peace.

I know the OP mentioned they didnt want clown loaches because of the size, BUT I think people forget about so many of the other Botia/Loach family fish. I keep several different Loaches. Some that dont get big, and arfe really nice/cool and good looking are Striata Botia. OR Angelicus botia, Or YO YO Loach. All of them only get max size of about 6 yo 7 inches. Great personalities.

Whoa! What happened here? Every time a clean up crew is brought out, the thread ends on a note that there are no real cleaner fish. Adding more fish will add more bioload hence the cycle repeats all over again. Now if only he has an even bigger tank in the league of 200 gallons, the voracious flagtails can be an option but again, bioload. Reduce feeding and train the fish.

My suggestion was based on the size of his current tank and I was not going to suggest a group of fish or a largish type species based on that (bioload) I thought a solatary cat that stays small was a good option in this situation. The OP never made mention of what the upgrade would be or when it would be available so I always go off of the current situation.

Good to see peace was made and the thread stayed on track.

A synodontus catfish, like a feather fin is perfect for a tank with GT as a center piece. Added bipolar is negligible. Or if adding one fish causes you nitrogen cycle problems, you probably need better filter systems.

I'm not worried much about the bio load, as the tank is far from overstocked with 1 current fish. I'd just like something to catch the other pellets. I really just want some other fish in the tank and would prefer some bottom dwellers. I thought about that with the cory cats after considering their size.

I would look into other loaches but I don't see many other kinds around here. I may get a few clowns or something, they're growing on me and I have other tanks I could move them to if I wanted. Thanks for all of the suggestions guys.
