Or you can go fishing in FL canals to get some free exotic cichlids and its really cheaper that way lol, who knows whats swimming in the canals.

i like the looks and sounds of electric blue dempseys, green terrors, red tiger motagunese, what do you guys think would be best to go in a 55 gallon and where in florida can i find one

most lfs can easily order some EBJD or green terrors for you

best 55g rarer cichlid. imo
or you could go for something like istlantum or lyonsi.
i would recomend a trimac but i think that might be too large in the future

is that a joke? Anyways we need to narrow to the specific species you want, theres too many different species and what you will stock with this cichlid? What African, Asian or American cichlid you want? Peace or Aggressive? Predatory? I assumed you want a single cichlid then forget most(not all of them) africans and asians as they like to be in groups.
