looks like he's recovering very well, good thing too... he's a good tig, dont lose him!

thanks adam...he got a full belly this morning =)
just measured him- 6 and 1/2 inches!
thought he was more then 5in!

so any thoughts about why the tail-end is always up like this now?

My only thought was that maybe he needed to be slowly acclimated back to normal water so that the fluid would re-enter his body. Have you had a chance to do that... if so, is it looking any better?

when I get home from work today I will do the wc-I looked at him this morning and he did look a little better imo...maybe it just takes time? but def. wc after work!

hey, sorry not to get back sooner, had a busy weekend! the little guys is doing great, it seems that his "back half" is down a bit more today, so thats good! And his personality is coming back too which is great! =)

glad to see your tig is doing better

i had a few small tigs the same size as yours that died of the same thing the bloated up

i noticed one thing you have the large size gravel i used to have

since i started using fine gravel i have never had this problem again

tigs are rubbish hunters and snap at food

it maybe possible that he swallowed a bit of gravel that he couldn't pass

all my tigs that died couldn't pass the gravel

it looks like you have been lucky and the tig has passed what he swallowed
