I had one of the glass tops with a 48" t5 fixure that was blocking the hinges from opening. There was a 1.5-2" gap between the glass and the back of the tank that I think she flew out of.

Sad thread man but you really tried hard its a gutter when go bad i mean a 2" gap and she finds it !! Sucks but typical
