I Need Help!!!

I have a red wolf fish 6" and it has lost almost all of its color and now has a sore around its mouth. I have no idea what has caused this. I was treating it for ICH the temp is at 87 and using salt. Cant upload photo for some reason. Any ideas?

Try Maracyn and Maracyn 2 made by Mardel. You should be able to pick some up at the lfs or Petsmart/Petco. Good luck hope it helps.

Most likely bacterial infection. P. Bass suggested some good meds. Lower your temperature to 76 degrees to avoid it from progressing rather quickly. Bacterial infections progress better with warm temperature.

You can choose either of the two.

Isolate the afflicted fish. Meds for bacterial infection can harm your beneficial bacteria.

Aeromonas bacteria can cause this infection.
