I need inspiration...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If I do this, I'm doing it right. It's not going to be a 50% job. It'll be good, even if it takes me a year to complete fully.
I'm definitely going to get advice about aquascaping if I go through with this, because I'm not incredibly creative and just logging in to MFK, I get inspired. Now, the only thing I would be worried about is the humidity, mold and fungi factor related to the warm enclosed 60-70 gallons of water...
Also on the land portion of the tank, would fake plants be adequate for some of the trees, or bigger plants? I could get a moss or something for the ground, and maybe some odd branches or pieces of decorative 'debris'.

Well, keep us posted on your progress :)

I'm not sure if you're in the right forum for aquascaping though. This is for monsters after all, maybe only a few with planted tanks and even less with paludariums.

Haha I know...I just like the feel of MFK. The atmosphere is nice :)
Plus I don't want to go signing up on a billion different forums...I tried to sign up on another one before and just left it lol. I don't have enough time to go on all these sites..

That's wicked cool, that tank is...
I think I've seen it a while back, but it's still really impressive...
I'm still learning with saltwater though. Freshwater is still my favorite, just because of the ease of it. ;)

I actually saw some rainbowfish yesterday at my LFS. The colours on them were brilliant...I may do that.
