hi, im new here xD

as you guys know, floridas unusually cold weather is killing off invasives, and its also making it easier to go get rid of them ourselves

because they were slowed down by the weather
i caught 50 plecostomus (almost all with my bare hand, some with a dipnet)
in 3 1/2 hrs

they all varied in size from a few inches to 2ft plus, unfortunately, i just left them on the bank, as i had nothing else i could do with them, and i aint putt'n um back xD

why keep selling them, when u can remove them from the wilds of florida???

oh, and what is that really cute sound they make???

I think that you wanted to get flamed, just by looking into this site for like 2 min you can tell that we are serious fish lovers..

Damn they're flamin on ya hard, but I have to agree. Killing them was NOT the best thing to do, you don't need to interfere. If they were going to die anyways, let nature take its course, not "lets see how many I can kill in 3 hour"

This is probably just some stupid kid jerkin' on our chain.

Even if it is it still pisses me off.

i hate u guys xD

ok, i understand, but theres no guarantee theyd die on there own, all the post was saying is that, if u want a plecostomus, catch one yourself

but as long as somethings invasive, and i can get it, im getting rid of it

I didn't realize you were with Fish & Wildlife. I'm glad you've been given the responsiblity of killing off populations of fish.

isnt leaving dead fish on bank illegal?

Yes sir it's illegal lol, when i live in MN i fished the river a lot and people would throw carp onto the shoreline and it was so stinky and disgusting it was hard to fish and enjoy yourself with all the damn flies and maggots.....I dont believe killing 50 plecos is going to fix the invasive problem so pretty much you just wasted your precious time  loser
