Mine does that knocking over stuff but sometimes its funny:popcorn:

if you were in socal id take em off of your hands:grinno:

My NGT group was pretty bad until I placed stands of dried and epoxy-sealed bamboo in the tank. The pads (sand colored floor tiles) had 6-10 bamboo poles of different diameters. Once I had pads equal to the number of NGTs, fights cut down to nearly zero. Each dat claimed a pad of bamboo and ignored the others unless they came too close to one's claimed pad.

You need a group or what your mdd about is going to go on and on. Better get yourself looking or selling..lol

ODDBALL - do you have pics of this bamboo setup? I'm trying to figure out what it looks like in my head but it's just not coming together for me lol.

I never took pics of the setup. It was simply sand colored floor tile (10" x 10") that I drilled oddly-spaced holes with spacing between the holes of 3.5" - 4.5". After the epoxy-cured 1" - 2" diameter x 22" - 24" tall bamboo poles cured, they were screwed to the tile using SS screws. A few had to be epoxy sealed to the tile because they didn't have enough wood for the screw to bite in. The tiles were then placed in the tank with a blind divider of either rock or plants to reduce the view of one dat "station" to another.
I've seen similar setups where instead of bamboo, the setup had mangrove root or driftwood.
My dats seemed to enjoy "dancing" and weaving through the bamboo. It most likely gave them the same sense of security they had in the wild weaving among estuarian roots and log-falls.

If you hate them so much why not solve the problem but instead you come here to whine. Give them to others that will love them as pets. This hobby lowers stress for me. Find a fish to love or find a new hobby.
