And here she is. She's a red blood python, named her Countess Bathory (seemed rather appropriate being a blood and all lol) and still a little baby. She hasnt tried to tag me yet but my luck will probably run out soon enough. Shes all cozied up in a 6qt tub right now. I was so stoked to grab her, I've always wanted one. My buddy bought a male from the same booth, so babies in a few years! :D

thank you chloe :] now I just have to try and get her to eat over the next couple days. tried to give her a hopper but she wasnt into it at all. think it might have been to big for her

THere aren't many Pythons that I really like (I'm a Boa guy myself). Blood Pythons and Carpet Pythons are about the only ones I like. From what I can see, I like yours :P

Bloods are a slimmer species in general so don't worry if it seems 'skinny' compared to other species of Pythons. The slimmer body is one fo the things I like about them.

I got my male Rubber Boa yearling to eat by "braining" The pinkie. Meaning I squashed it's little head until it's brain juices leaked out. It sounds gross and to an extent is gross, but it worked and to me that's what counts.

Good buy and best of luck on your future breeding project.

I hope you got a really decent price (like almost free) for her cause she is WAY emaciated and looks dehydrated as well.
Should probably have her checked and/or treated for internal parasites just to be safe.
But hopefully thats all thats wrong with her and with some good feeding and tlc you can get her up to good health in no time!

Um what? Bloods are an extremely heavy bodied snake. And I do mean heavy, they are one of the thickest (relative to length) pythons there are.
