Yeah thank you. I must have missed that post or I would have commented.....
Bloods are probably THE thickest of pythons relative to length... not just one of them.. I have never seen a fatter snake (that was still healthy) than a blood....

Um what? Bloods are an extremely heavy bodied snake. And I do mean heavy, they are one of the thickest (relative to length) pythons there are.

Your right, my mistake... I should stick to boas :P

lol boas r great!

I agree with Sylvias and izzy. it looks dehydrated and emaciated. Try soaking it and getting it to drink. if it does not drink then you make have to deworm it. Who did you get this from? do you know if it was CB? it looks like a fresh import to me but it could just be a CB runt too. I hate to say it but I think you got ripped off. Do not be surprised if it dies, this animal should not have been sold in this condition unless they specifically told you that it was sick and would possible need veterinary care.

in the states the size of mice is as follows:
pinky, fuzzy, hopper, small, medium, large, ex breeder
most places stick to these names but some rodent places may call ex breeders XL mice etc...

oh and good luck with it I hope it pulls through for you I do but I am skeptical. Be sure to keep us posted on its health.

I got her from sunshine breeders or something or other and they told me she was CB so I'm guessing she's just a runt. The male we got with her had alittle more size on him so I'm almost positive theyre parasite free. My friend who runs a reptile shop said that he's bought through them and never had any problems so I guess she's just under fed is all. She has plenty of water and was drinking when I got her home so Ive been keeping it clean for her. Going to try and feed her in about a half hour or so whenever my dad gets back with the car. So I'll let you know how that goes

okay if you can get it eating then you are probably in the clear. Again, good luck with it and I hope the little guy makes it, they are pretty cool snakes.
