Theres an expo next month.. I'm probably not gonna buy anything but I'll deffo have a look around.
I dunno, some people say its best to get another pet right away but seems weird.

dang sorry for your loss.. i remember when my jackson died.. everything was all good, then one day i come outside and he was half way dead on the floor of cage with ants eating him alive... he later past away.. i cried

at least she was gone before you found her. it sucks seeing any animal in pain..

Its just weird though, doesn't make any sense why she would just go like that for no reason.
Everything happens for a reason?

I looked on craigslist for beardies.. to see if maybe I could give one a home.
But I only found people trying to sell babies.
I'll just take a break for a while.

I hope your break will give you time to mourn the loss of your lizard but also inspire you to work harder next reptile you buy so you can continue to grow and learn from all your reptile keeping.

Its a sad day in a herp keepers life i remember when my argentine boa died he jus stopped eating brought him to the vet and they didnt handle large constrictors bc they r illegal near me but its horrible and im sorry for your loss

Every animal has something wrong with it.
Just like us, Depends if our body is up to the job.
From what I've heard Beardies arnt as resilant as the animals I keep. Turtles/Tortoise

Lizards I guess require a lot more care.

But after reading your story, Possible for a beardie to choke on a cricket if swallowed wrong?

Very possible. You need to feed it crickets smaller then the space between the animals eyes.

But I am willing to bet he did this.
