120g sump is not bad. It seems that the 180 is average, but..

Oh wait, you mean your actual tank?

I am just messing with you, the only times that people post tank sizes are usually when they are 100+ gallons. A lot of people here only have 55s and 75s. 120s are very nice though, I want to eventually get one myself.

yea 120's a good size. I got a 150 and I call it over kill IMO. Esp when you try and lift that bad boy onto a 4' tall stand. I always just remember no matter how big you go, someone else is goin bigger :D

Yea I remember a year ago I thought my 55 was big, then i joined this forum and upgraded to a 6 foot tank (150) and hope to get an 8fter or larger when I move out of the apt and get a house. But 120 is a good size, dont let others take away from your pride cause most likely your tank is twice the size of even the average fish enthusiast.

+1 I thought my 55 and 65 gallon tanks were fine until I found this forum. Fortunately :) I caught the bug, now I have a sump that dwarfs my old tanks

Been there , Done That ... ha ha ha

I had a 10 gallon tank for a while , and really liked it , then found this site , and for some reason I wanted something bigger , so got myself a "HUGE" 55 gallon , when I picked it up and had it sitting in the middle of the room and I was walking round it I thought it was huge , then I was passing a garage sale and there was a 55 gallon for $50 and I bought it , so I had two , but nothng in it and someone was giving away Oscars , so I got 2 , then they started to grow , and I found out I needed a bigger tank for them , so I sold my 55 and bought a 120 for them and they grew some more and I was pleased at how I could manage their water , and now their starting to lay eggs .... But
I then got a good deal on a 180 gallon and just managed to fit it in the truck bed on the way home and looking at it I thought I had a Biggy at last , but having set it up and looking at it , I'm thinking I could have a 300 just as easy ?
One day , One day , for the time being I'm happy , but keep looking .

i had a 75 gallon for about 8 years then i joined this forum so i added a 240 gallon. I would have been happy with 125 from 75, but thanks to MonsterFishKeeper 240 is not big enough.
