i had a 75 gallon for about 8 years then i joined this forum so i added a 240 gallon. I would have been happy with 125 from 75, but thanks to MonsterFishKeeper 240 is not big enough.

There just never big enough...Darn this MFK!

okay my story is. got a free 29 gal. got the bug. found a 29 for $20 then found a 29 side of the road with stand light sign reading FREE. Did craigslist. found long 40 for $15
Thought woo hoo. then found MFK site. thought hey a sump. found a 30 long for $30. Cool all set now. Oh wait I went on craigslist again. Free tank. Call says it is big i say cool. Turns out to be a 125gal. omg it is big. then by the way I have another half this size they may be getting rid of do you want it. Well of course. so another few days later 55gal is ready if you want it.

So I Currently have 3 - 29 gal tanks running.
a 125 a 55 and a 30 sitting waiting for me to have money or another magic craigslist day for stands to start my bigger adventures.

sooooo I hate MFK site as well :)

aquarium companies need to sponsor us or somethin. this is crazy. before i joined thi forum i thought my friends 30 gal with a yellow cat was a monster tank.... and then there was MFK.... now my 120 might as well be ten gallons

One of these day I will make my basement in to one bigg Ass fish tank!!!! and still I would want a bigger one lol seriously

I found this forum when I got my 70g tank. I thought that was a big tank until I came here. I'm now working on setting up a fish room, I've got 4 tanks running so far, with plans for 10 more. I've also been planning out a 500gallon tank for my office. I've gotten to the point in planning, where planning it is getting in the way of building it. I just need to start now.

I have this website set as my home page, when I fire up the internet, no matter what I was planning on doing, mfk always holds my attention for the first few minutes, sometimes an hour or more.:)

I have discovered that bigger is still never enough... i remember when i got my 25G i was like yeah, this is a decent size, then discovered the fish i want needed a bigger tank, so went and got a 55G saying, this should last me a while, till i decided i wanted bigger fish still... which led to me setting up my 200G... but after about a month of owning and running the 200G, i discovered even that wasn't enough, and now i want something like a 300 - 500G tank...

So in other words, its hard to ever be satisfied unless you literally have your dream tank... although even then being human, we'd probably still want to upgrade..
