Keep him, just add him last.

Look to fosters and smith aquatics for your salt. Their prices are MUCH cheaper than petcos, and they offer flat rate shipping, which is on EVERYTHING Im pretty sure. Do one big order of dry goods, help a small town business grow, and get better prices at that!

I agree, their prices are great for salt. When I went up to their facility in Rhinelander a couple months ago, I got 200 gallon boxes of Reef Crystals for 42 bucks!!! I bought 3 boxes.

They won't be that cheap online but if you get cheap shipping that would be the way too go. Get only 200 gallon boxes, the 160 gallon ones in 5 gallon buckets are a ripoff comparatively.

I have to say.....quite the endeavor for a 14 year old. I am very impressed.

I (facebook) "Like" all of this. :D

Ok. Im definitely going to check that out then....Byebye petco

Haha, yeah. Im starting to wonder if I am completely sane. Whenever I explain to my friends im saving my money up for a fish tank, they're like..."You have a huge one already!" Its only when I tell them how big I want, their expressions go , ":WHOA:". And then I listen to normal 14yr old talk...Video games and staying up late :naughty:

in the past Aqua Traders has had some problems with Quality control. That being said, Fleshy has set up a ton of tanks with them, and I have to say that even when one of his friends did something very very stupid, they functioned just fine. I wouldn't be too concerned about using one for now.

I think you should go for this. You may not be able to do everything you want to do, but you can do some of it for sure. This is a hobby you can do forever, and the tank that will cost you $200/mo can wait until you get through college.

For now, save your money and buy stuff as you find it on sale. The anticipation will kill you, but it will be awesome in the end. I am jealous, I wish I couldv'e talked my rents into letting me try something like this when I was 14.

How about staying up late and watching your fish? :D

When you are an old man, you will have something to tell your kids and grandkids. Too many kids in our generation are going to have to say "Yea..well...I played video games....went on facebook...and that was pretty much it." Its sad if you ask me, thats why I sold my last system...4 years ago now I think.

OUR rents. Although I have had better luck with this than you did. I think its cause Im the baby. :D

Well that's just great.

The guy who I was buying the tank off of sold it.

So...For now...I guess I have to find another tank before I do anything else.

Whoh...he sold it out from underneath you? Thats not classy...did you tell him you were gunna buy it?

That is kinda a hit, sounds like it was a crazy deal.
