my water to my new 3 week old 90 gal tank has a green tint to the water what is the best way to get rid of it naturely without hurting the fish
i think i have an algae bloom please help

Leave the light off and get some algae tablets by tank buddy. Will be crispy in a few days if that's the problem. Good luck, it worked perfect for me !!
Try anything else before throwing random chemicals into your tank. You never know what you'll kill.
thats what im worried about ive had the light off for two days with the blinds down only turning on light for feedings im trying to see if it will clear on its own before i put anything in it i dont wanna stress the fish out
Don't even need light for feeding in most cases. You could even fast them for a few days unless you've got some dedicated algae eaters in there. In case you didn't know, green water is actually healthy for the fish. Check your nitrates, they are probably lower than they've ever been before.
awsome thats what i was mainly concerned about i dont want to loose any of them i have a 30 gal that only got a white cloudy tint never green so i guess ill just let it do its thing and see what happens ill keep up with the weekly water change thanks
