AE86 is a front engine rear drive car.

Hachi Roku for the win. Ditch that silvia. The Toyota is way more of a classic. Did you ever see the old Option video of the AE86 vs. the NSX? AE86 4AG with Webers rules all. It's the ultimate Japanese classic hot rod. Such a sound when well tuned.:headbang2

GTR's come up for sale alot. If you surf a car forum or two, and sometimes ebay people do get rid of them. Also motorex is belly up but there were alot brought in before motorex without their help so there are probably more floating around then you think.

I must say there is something about a AE86 that's kinda hot..
 
Between those two, I like the look of the Nissan better, but the AE is much more of a head turner if you know what it is.

Personally, I'd trade my race car and turn in my professional work for a desk job to own a blue R34. But that is just me.
 
Is it a genuine 86? Even if its just an 85 or something with a 4ag init I'd still do it. S14's do nothing for me, the mid 90's was a dark period for nissan with the big fat round S14's and R33's. S13 and R32 are great, and I love S15 and R34, but the S14 and R33 are both poo's IMO.

AE86 + F20C from an S2000 would be the best of both worlds. 240hp + light car = hella fun, but also good economy and reliability.
 
Jed that car is hot... upgraded turbos oh my.. know the whp numbers off hand? Super sick..
