Some your information needs some fine tuning.

Actually the Chain Catshark needs water temps below 56F, the Swell Shark and The Gulf Catshark need to be below 66F, and the Rusty Carpet Shark, and Cobbler's Wobbegong need to below 70F.

Also the Mexican Horn Shark needs a larger tank than 250 gallons. And the Brown Smoothhound needs a tank larger than 1,000 gallons.

can any1 here direct me towards a website with hardy and preferably but not needed cheaper rays with good shipping

well i think those are some cool fish also but not for private use . i live down on the gulf of florida and have caught many of both rays and nurse sharks and let me say with the smallest nurse i caught was 8ft long and over 200lbs u would need a tank the size of ur house . stick with the freshwater fake sharks would be best. like the red tail or high fin

Adult Nurse sharks can actually be kept in large above ground swimming pools - there's actually a couple of videos on YouTube of a public aquarium in Key West doing that. Also I've heard of some private aquarists keeping adult (9ft) Nurse sharks in a 28-30 ft diameter pool.

As for Chain Catsharks - the only chillers that would be able to keep a 500 gallon tank at below 56F would be a professional grade chiller that is specifically rated to go down to at least 50F/10C.
