I want a ray

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That tank isn't really a recomended size for any ray. Your dimentinos should read a large surface area and depth isn't necissarily an issue. However when you add more water like any fish the amount of waste produced is spread through a larger volume of water in a bigger tank. And rays kidneys produce a lot of waste so be prepaired. As for stunting their growth... Would anyone get mad if I started selling cats that only got the size of a litter box?

why even have them if you aren't going to let them grow the way they should. That is like that couple that have their daughter's breat tissue and reproductoin organs removed because she was handicaped and they wanted it to be easier to pick her up!

NOT FAIR TO THE GIRL, NOT FAIR TO THE FISH!

if you read dr. ross's great book it also mentions control feeding and growth. i've had them for 6 years, i don't know many ray owners to mention the length of time they have owned the same rays, i also mentioned i did that the first 3 years. they are fed believe me, in fact my female chose not to eat almost all winter and it freaked me out! but guess what 3 months later and still with a fat tail she is eating again! maybe she is getting old, but who knows? 6 YEARS!!!!!!! BTW, my 2 fat ass cats are on diets!!! also, don't you guys think they are better off in the wild, so pretty much we are all in the wrong!!!!!!
