I want a snake!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I use the rubbermaid tubs (74qt I think) for my ATB and they do hold heat and humidity pretty good.

ATB....now THAT's a handleable snake...J/K.

You could use whatever substrate you want in the tubs. Back when I used to breed, I used aspen shavings, cypress mulch, paper towels, and even newsprint depending on the species. Just watch while it eats on the shavings that it doesn't ingest some while it eats. The fibers are sharp. Also, never use cedar shavings. For ease of cleaning, i'd use the carpet, paper towels or newsprint.

Haha yeah it has a bit of an attitude :angryfire ...lol, it's still a baby right now...It's going to be quite a handful as an adult. I use paper towels for substrate for the ATB and shredded aspen for the ball. When I feed the the ball I'll lay newspaper over top the aspen that way there's no chance for ingestion.

Where are you located?

Did you get my PM? There's a forum you can go to, I gave you a link. I would post it here but I'm not sure if its against the TOS.
