Your looking to deep into it lol, are you telling me a fish is as intelegent as most dogs? I understand where you are coming from, maybe my wording wasnt the best, what I basically trying to say is the animal knows no different, people look at dogs sleeping all day and say must be so boring being a dog sleeping and chasing balls all day??? But thats a dogs life. yes / no? A dog isnt brought up wanting all gadgets and c**p, its happy with ball, bone,chew whatever. I beleve the same goes for a fish as in as much as other than swim round all day, what can a fish do? Which often makes me wonder why people say a perticular breed of fish is boring, when it can only do same as other fish and swim about a bit.
Hope this helps explain what Im trying to say, basically what my original first line says I guess you cant treat them as human as they are only used to doing fish things ie swimming about, not sit down for morning coffee and have a chat with mates etc.
I know this is bit off topic but I beleve the behaviour background can benefit the likes of Jaketherake with some of his bizarre claims and ideas.
