im just generalizing and i say that from my own experience. i never hear any good stories about mechanics and automotive shops. everything is always bad. thank goodness i know a thing or two about cars and do my own work

Not the price, it's the principle...If someone broke into your house and only took the pillow you were sleeping on, would you simply go back to bed with no concern??? I doubt it. Who knows he will not find "what else" they took...Stealing is stealing...

you aren't one of those girls that has 100 dollar perfume bottles are you? my wife likes a 80 dollar bottle of perfume. i can't stand the smell either. oh well. makes her happy.

yeah pretty much unless its something crazy complicated. i have a friend that works in a auto parts store so i get all his discounts also know somebody with an engine code reader so i could diagnose my own problems. and other than that, Google is my best friend

same here .unless it's something like a differential or tranny i do it myself. I will even rebuild my own motor though.
