Mechanics are good friends. I get basically anything done for a case of beer. I had my car detailed once and had all my change missing, but they did clean the cup holder very well.

I hate mechanics, not saying they're the scum of the earth, but a majority I've met are not people I would trust.

I don't keep anything valuable or memorable in my car if it needs to go to the shop. Luckily it's a honda, never needs to be taken in besides oil changes. Keep a piece of paper in your center console and glove box saying "NO NEED TO LOOK IN HERE ***HOLE".

And to OP, robbed would mean it was taken from you by force. You were burglarized?
