I Went TWO MONTHS Without Buying a Fish

I aim for more expensive fish now. I really love my kirrin parrot. I still have room for quite a few more, but cost wise i have to take my time... I am also moving into decor and tank items as well. As for getting dumped due to my fish... I say dump him first... Save urself the trouble. My husband loves to take me to the lfs even if he tunes me out when i babble on about my latest project...

Lol! I get distracted while playing MW3 and looking at my tank in my living room. I have even shut lights off during clan ops.
 
I agree, having another hobby is great! I am getting into photography, it helps keep me from spending all my time on fish stuff. :)

Taking a trip to my LFS tomorrow to drop off flyers for the whole MFK vs MEC thing. I have to keep myself from buying fish...wish me luck ;) Lol
 
Also live plants :drool: you can never have to many. I LOVE aquatic plants :). And the flowering is the best part. It keeps the nitrates and ammonia low so its a win-win for everybody. Theres a plant for every tank. Don't matter if u got 1/4 wpg of flourescent theres a plant for that. Got no fixture? well there's a plant for that too. Got full sunlight? There's a plant for that. High ph? High phosphate? Chlorine? Hard water? Boiling water? There's a plant for all of those :).

Two months seem like a long time. It's hard to resist when I see deals on MFK. I should find a different hobby or take classes to keep me busy.
