Tell them you will comply with what they are requesting but make up reason why in order to do so you will be needing their personal info......I guess they don't have ssn but whatever they do have find out and say you need it to continue transaction.

Also,it would be funny to mention something about "things not going through correctly" and your going to have to get a plane ticket and come get your check in person.....something like that,LOL

Anytime I post something on craigslist I usually get one of these.

One of my favorite scams was on eBay though. I was looking for some parts for a Bowflex and I found a guy that was selling them out of his house...and he lived just outside of Boston.

I though that was perfect because I could just pick them up and not have to pay for shipping, but it turned out that my timing was just a little off...the guy moved to the UK to start up a business so I would have to send payment there and he would notify his friend (who apparently still lived in Brighton with all of his friends stuff) that I would pick it up.:screwy:

I should have messed with him a little like you're doing, wurm...but oh well...I'm sure there will be plenty more.

I always screw with those time share people that call.

Last time this girl called and I was like, "after I get done with the presentation and say 'no' can you make sure that the sales person shows me his rap CD." ....... She was like, "what?"

Then I said, "instead of vegas can you send me on a moose hunt in alaska?" and she said, "let me ask my manager." LOL :ROFL:

I am so excited to see that I can get my check now. I was previously dealing with Dr. Mark David Chapman, who was to send it. Anyway, I have opened a bank account to put my riches in. Should I get a lawyer for this transaction? It is a lot of money. What do you need me to do? Oh and my blue crayfish died the other day. We are having a funeral tomorrow. We even got a headstone from Petco. I won't be around tomorrow because of it much. It was my favorite one.
