we just had half a tree land on our roof, scared the crap out of me and took out the huge antenna that is on our roof (probably has been there since for 20 years) and when that crashed down it shook the whole house...sheesh...but hey, we still have power

So are my power lines, no telephone poles where i live, theyre all underground... but they are always above ground somewhere, eventually.

I only recieve power outages from random cars smacking into power poles or from the occasional, violent storm. No snow where I live.

We woke up to almost a half inch of ice this morning and luckily, knock on wood, our power is still on.
