His hemorrhage could be due to a rupture in either the caudal vein or affluent vessels (do you know if this could have happened when you were trying to get him to release the cory.. Any updates on his condition.. if so what is the condition now that you are seeing.. are you giving garlic.. don't give anymore garlic because this will cause more bleeding.. maybe add some Aquarium salt according to directions.. best of luck
Unplug the heater if your rm temp is 77 that's all you'll get. Do you have a hospital tank? Here's what I would do. Do a very large 75% water change. Add i tablespoon of aquarium salt per 5 gallons of water. Get some Maracyn-Two it's a broad spectrum antibiotic that will attack both gram -&+ bacteria. It could be a septic gastric infection and if it is this will help. It will be cheaper if you have a hospital tank but you might have to/want to treat the whole tank. Follow the instructions on the box as far as dosage is concerned. Do not feed the fish! Withold food during the full corse of treatment. Keep the water as clean as possibile during and after treatment. Act fast. Keep us posted and we can adjust treatment if necessary. This is a good starting point.
These cories are tiny, they didn't pass his lips though. He bit and spit. I'm guessing like someone else mentioned he got poked near the belly somehow. No garlic, just salt and fishkeeper. I've been using half the salt dosage as I have a pleco in the tank too.
