I hope that you also got my PM. My advice falls pretty close in line with what Aquanero posted . I did not realize you had other fish in the tank and understand your conern. As stated a hopsital tank or other tank to put the pleco in is an option. I am not sure how big he is but if you are really concerned you can also try to get a 10gal tank off craigslist or a larger critter keeper from the dollar store or something and put an aerator in it or a sponge filter for temporary purposes if you don't have an extra tank (I have had to do this before)- you can get that when you run out to get your meds. Just a thought

I bought some Maracyn 2 today and a couple of hours after the dose I noticed his belly really improve. It seems my previous treatments of boosting his immune system with fishkeeper, salt doses and tons of water changes really helped him kill most of his ailments but coupled with this Maracyn2 I can see him making a full recovery soon.
On another note, Maracyn 2 is freakin expensive.

Awesome to hear how good he is doing.. the medicines are expensive thats why it is worth the small expense for a hospital tank.... so you only need a small amount of meds........
And knowing is half the battle! I've definitely learned from this experience the importance of a qt tank. Thanks everyone. I'll post pics when he is 100%.

so glad he is recovering and looking forward to seeing his new healthy pics
Here's some update pics. Tomorrow is his last day of antibiotics and I'll keep up with my daily 5-10 gallon water changes light salt doses and fishkeeper for the rest of the week.
*Ich is completely gone from severum and his belly shows subtle signs of improvement daily but his corky personality is back full swing.
The ich went to some guppies and they cleared up in 2days.
The pleco disagreed with the maracyn 2 and seemed lazy the first two days but is back to being an active pig/poop machine*
Oh yeah. I'm sick of snails. Ehk.
