It's not flukes or something else right?
Both gills are functioning?

I am starting to wonder. I mean they have white spots but their breathing is terrible and it's just salt and temp. Which could stress them alittle but not this much. And nothing has helped this far. But I heard the final stages of ich destroy their gills.

Did you add carbon or something to get rid of the meds?
If so you could add prazipro it works amazing and actually seems to boost appetite as well! Treats flukes like a champ and internal parasites. You been gravel vacuuming all g with regular water changes?

^ this?

Also - I see your other thread, your nitrates are well above 80ppm - you really need to do some water changes and get that down ASAP. and IMHO, 88 is really too high temp. I wouldn't go any higher than 86 - the higher the temp the harder it is on the fish, and with ich, high nitrates and whatever else is going on the less stress the better... but, that's me.

Your are correct about nitrates. I did a 20g water change 2 days ago and a 50% yesterday and changed out all my filter media with new clean filter and carbon. My fish appear better other then one loach that still is going hard. My salt is up and and temp up and uv. Temp may be a bit high.

U also. Red to make sure that whatever mess u put in the tank besides the salt allow for raised water temps most meds require lower temps u either treat w meds OR salt and heat not both. When I treat w heat and salt which is my fav method w best results I add the required amount of salt at one time

The meds and heat would make sense that's proably what stressed my fish. Like I said I added carbon to take the meds out and they seem acting better. And I never did salt so it took 3 days till I hit the correct amount. Salt intimidated me alittle so I wanted to go slow.
