I'd go about 10 days or 3 life cycles. The egged version of this is immune to the meds, so you got to wait for a few rounds of the life cycle to go through, it's point of infestation is the gills so even if the body is clear the gills may still be loaded.
 
I would just use new ones.

In fact, if you don't have foul odor, discoloration etc with your tank water, I would use mechanical + biofiltering and skip carbon all together.
