id gar fry....i found me some!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
-great pics and glad they are coming along well! majority look to be LNGs at this point; as they continue to grow we will see if any are SNG...should be able to tell in another week or two for sure (especially since we can't differentiate among all individuals via pics). good luck and keep us updated!--

thanks sol, they have been doing a number on the guppies! they have been growing well and not so much as a nip to each other. one deffinatly looks to be off from the others, but for the most part they look to be all longnose from what i can see. would be nice if a few turn out to be sng though.

didn't get to go catfishing tonight so i didn't get to look for more gars, but i am going out in the day tomorrow after i pick up the bowfin fry.....ooopppssss did i just type that out loud?......"cough" i mean some native fish frys..."cough"

update

one of the gars has a bent spine. it is not a sharp curve, but it looks like it may have injured itself. i am upping the wc schedule to see if that will help. it still seems to be eating so i hope it was just from a spike in ammo levels from the feeders and it goes away instead of a broken spine. it can still move its tail so i have my fingers crossed.
