See the mouth structure? Protomelas have small mouths compared to their head and body. Look at the OP's fish... can you see the difference in size and shape?
And after looking all the various P. fenestratus from Ad's books, I actually doubt that you even have one... based on the colors that are appearing on yours versus the various locals I've looked at so far.
LOL - you need to just plain go away - that's a Steveni Varient not a Fenestratus. As far as I'm concerned OPs fish is official UNKOWN which is fine - as for you callin' me a fraud, well my Monsters are all over this site on numerous forums. Your statement was a very shallow way to express anger and meant to be a personal attack on my character - they should ban you for that. I hope one day when you grow up you'll have a better handle on your emotions

It's def not a Protomelas (anything). They have a specific head structure that looks nothing like the OP's fish.
My vote is hyrbid.
Usually if a fish store doesn't "know" the type of fish, it's most likely a hybrid.
