Isn't the males yellow, female blue in kenyi's?? Or am I thinking wrong on that one??fish head )'>;1167104; said:I think I would ID them as "too big for that tank!"J/K (well, maybe as adults)
How about small male kenyi for the blue one? The black blaze is alittle weird for that fish. Maybe female kenyi for the orange.
That's what I was thinking too (colors), when mine started changing colors it freaked me out a little..and found out the males do change to yellow. I ended up having 3 males and 1 female, the biggest male is starting to get more aggressive now, since they prefer a 1/3 m/fm ratio. I HAVE to get my 75 set up soon so I can get some more females to add w/ them.fish head )'>;1174943; said:I think I am 1/2 wrong...kindaYou are correct the females are yellow/orange. I mis-spoken. however, males morph from blue to yellow/orange. either way, I think I am off anyway. It does seem to have the black blaze of the Pseudotropheus.

Yes, that is what the pic was...didn't realize it would go to the sign-in page when I pasted the link..type that in, it looks alot like yours.straitjacketstar;1175000; said:My first impression was (and still is) P. saulosi.
