Funny, I've had bichirs for 10 years and never had anything lose an eye...perhaps because I don't feed live they lose the instinct.

i had mine for 6 years and i never fed live food... but i quess when the opportunity presents itself... they take the opportunity...

just thought id say that the lima made a full recovery, and it is not too noticable now
