Not really sure. I guess there's the potential for it to be a green that has darkened because of surroundings, but it really is the red pectoral fins that are throwing me off. Every green I've seen in person, both at 6" and at 12" have been very light in colour both in the body and in the fins.

you are talking about the pictures in the 3rd post correct? if so the red tint is the light. Look at the surface of the water he is using purpleish lights.

I see it in the first and third pics.

Could be the lighting and it could just be the genetics and diet.

Do you know the farm it originated from?
