please, PLEASE dont say its a hybrid or guess what it is unless you really know. we had about 4 threads dedicated just to properly identifying sunfish. this is a completely unsupported conclusion and has no worth. the fish in question is without a doubt a bluegill. just because it appears silvery does not make it any different, after all it is probably just the lightingBIG_ONE;2870821; said:I can't quite say its a bluegill, body is a little long for a bluegill in my experience with them. looks like a hybrid of some sort to me.
if you can show the front of the head, I might be able to tell...as of now, im just going to call it a hybrid of some sort of panfish. too silvery.
