i dont know how you can sit there telling yourself thats a bluegill, its obviously a crappie please get your facts strait.

im going to stop posting here because clearly these people have no idea what they are talking about. my last statements are it is NOT crappie, it is NOT a tilapia(dont know where the hell you got that, they arent found native to united states waters), and it IS a bluegill.
also, I will add this link to help the simpletons understand why it is a bluegill and not a tilapia(of all things) or a crappie. you CANNOT base an identification solely on color.

heres the link,
http://www.bolingbrookparks.org/facilities/hiddenlakes/Bluegill.pdf

the main characteristic that make it a bluegill over other sunfish is the faint black spot at the back of the soft-rayed dorsal fin.

if anybody cares to take the time to further explain to these stubborn people why it is a bluegill, feel free to do so. I am done and it is a bluegill.

a final statement just to drive the point home, tilapia do not have visibly distinguished ears, like sunfish do. it is clear it is a bluegill and no more arguments or guesses will be valid. there is a majority agreeing that it is bluegill, so stop making fools of yourselves

dudes just scared to be wrong
