Anybody know what it is? I will let him go in a few weeks...

its an alligator lizard, not sure which kind though

northerns dont have the white accents though and southerns range all the way to washington-ish

The one pictured does not have the more slender head like the southern pictured, this one is more stocky and shares the same whitish blotches you speak of. The southern has more greenish colored scales. It may well be a hybrid or a locale morph.

its possible im no pro with alligator lizards though not my area i wish though
