ID My new class pet please!

I use to catch them all the time when I lived in Cali, im no expert either, but it looks as if the southern is a more colorful cousin.

Wow that's more than I thought there were (in PA). What, 5 lined skinks for sure. Maybe eastern fence lizard. And invasives...I think both wall & ruins lacerta are established in PA.
 
Nice but dont forget to get a nice and big habitat for him, weak heat lamps and Uv ligth. your gonna need also some crickets and mealworms. Give him lots of braches,plants and other cover and make shure he doesant stress to much:)

The Natives:
Five-Lined Skink
Coal Skink
Broad Headed Skink
Eastern Fence Lizard

Yes I believe there might still be a population of Italian Wall Lizards scattered around in the Philly area. But from what I've heard no one has seen any babies in a long time. There might not be enough to keep the population going.
 
I bet the kids love it. :) Looks like a pretty good sized lizard, where did you find it?

Found it here at school in a classroom, since Im the only male on campus I get called on for all matters that are icky and reptilian. :nilly:
