I have to agree that the cichla in the photos in this thread look nothing like the Rio Parana kels in the photos that Jeff Rapps has.I don't think a "runt" would look like a totally different species.
.....not trying to flame or pile on here but Boostin is one of the most knowledgeable cichla keepers on MFK.

You have zero credibility period. No need to lie. We all enjoy bass...of all types. Its the shady girldog types that lie about what they dont have that we dont need around here. Not just the cichla section.

Omg. This girldog thing is the lamest word ive heard in a long time. On a lighter note my intermedia.xingu.orinos and 2 kels are all off live and onto bloodworms. I have 1 stubborn kel left going hungry
