Hi i bought a fish earlier today marked up as a Green Texas cichlid (Carpintis) (£3.95)
however looking at him closer he looks to have a flower line
That being said Flowerhorns are non existent locally.
The bloke in the shop said that hes a normal texas, but after i challenged it a few times he said he came from a tank that had trimacs and other ca's
So my guess is Texas x Trimac
it was a total impulse buy because of the flowerline, i dont have room for an adult because i want that tank for my Oscar, but my plan was, if he goes red and does turn out to be a flowerhorn then i may keep him instead, if not i will grow him with my Oscar to about 5"ish then sell him for cheap like £5
SO whats your opinions?
