ID please. Armatus or tats???

I pm'd a few members here and some says they are Armatus and some says they are Tats. They are at 4" long.

I'm getting one of this sabertooth tetra from Charles Lam. His also a member here.

My guess is scomb all the Armarus ive seen have much bigger tails.
 
I'd say Tatauia since Armatus have much bigger tail and doesn't have gold color on their body. (They have silver, at least mine. But I've heard someone said theirs got gold color when they're very young.)

However that's my speculation. Post their picture again after they got passed 6". It's much easier to identify when they're on that size.

I know what a scomb looks like even at 4" and there is no they are scob as it doesn't have the black dot near the gill and it doesn't swim heads down.

I'll be getting one in two weeks and I'll update it from there. I don't have the fish yet.
 
YOu shuld contact JLnguyen74 or R1_ridah they will tell you what that is.
