  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i pmed KRS, he is very good at IDing them. (almost as good as me ha ha)

Look Armatus!

I'm saying Tat.

Growth rate will definetly let you know for sure.....

If they ARE indeed Armatus you'll see the glowing adipose fin within a month, and KNOW because the growth rate..... Armatus seem to grow weekly.

To me the fin on the bottom in front of the tail in relation to tail size is an easy way to tell.

IF you would like I'm sure I could dig up some pics of small Armatus for you to compare them with.

Please please do. I wanna compare them.

I have never seen a Tat at 4'' have a clear tail. I have only owned 4 Tat's and 2 of them were bought at 2.5''s and they had he reddish brown tail at that size. Looks scomb to me. If you can get a eating vid that would help.

I'm gonna venture to say that they are tats,in the pictures they dont seem to hold their body at an angle the way that scombs do and their mouths are horizontal also, unlike scombs. But how wonderful would it be if they are arms?

Well their mouths are at an angle but I dont think they are scombs.

If they are really 4", I don't think its an Armatus, but I could be wrong. Here are two pictures of an armatus at 2" and 4"..
